Speak with Impact
Client: Global Public Speaking is one of the best-known public speaking training teams in the world.
Challenge: Global Public Speaking had grown tremendously and were changing their name and modernizing their website. They had three messages to introduce: a new book, new team members, and the company’s public speaking mission. Our goal was to introduce these three calls-to-actions in a logical and accessible way.
Approach: First, we prioritized introducing the new book, Speak with Impact by Allison Shapiro. Second, we focused on the public speaking training services, and finally, we introduced the new team of trainers. My team at Full Orbit designed the homepage layout and I collaborated with the Global Public Speaking team to develop the homepage content.
On the services page, we created bold navigation to introduce the different services and allow people to easily find what they are looking for. Same for the calls-to-action at the bottom of each services page. I wrote the wording and the team members gave their input. My team and I designed the bold and eye-catching call-to-action for each one.
Finally, there was a tremendous amount of content for the book, far too much for a single book page. I made the decision to divide it among several pages and use the color red from their branding to highlight the section overall.
Results: The new website and the branded book section has helped the book become a NY Times best seller and the public speaking training company grow phenomenally.
